Havenwood Academy, in Cedar City, UT is excited to be opening a sister program called Zion Hills Academy. They have operated for three years under current capacity, and are preparing a new treatment home as the demand for treatment of teenage girls is continuing to grow.
Havenwood specializes in treating teen girls with attachment disorders, specifically Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), and is licensed by the State of Utah and accredited by The Joint Commission. Zion Hills Academy will operate using the same therapists, staff, school, and methodology.
“We are growing because we provide high-end, research-based services and treatments to families who adopt their children and need help with those children who suffer from Reactive Attachment Disorder. This condition is not well understood in the United States and there are few resources available to the many families who need help. We offer a program and services that are designed to help parents and families regain, repair and rebuild damaged and important relationships”
-Linda Reeves, Clinical Director
Due to the increase in capacity, any educational consultants who feel that Havenwood may be a good fit for their clients are welcome to tour the program and observe Havenwood Academy & Zion Hills Academy’s treatment first hand.
