After seven years as Dean of Admissions, I’m sad to report that Andrew Weller will be leaving Ridley College this summer to repatriate home to the United States. Andrew has traveled the world tireless on behalf of Ridley, making many important connections and building many key relationships that have served us well. In addition, James Pinkham, who has been our primary representative in the USA, is also returning home this summer.
Please know that Ridley College remains committed to our American partners, families and alumni. We are proud to have students from 14 different states at our Canadian boarding school. To that end, I wanted to provide you my contact information so you may have continued confidence in Ridley and know who to contact if we may be of any assistance to you or your students. This summer we will plan our staffing for the fall and appointing a new admissions counselor for the US and I will be in touch again before September with that information. In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact me this summer and to forward to me any invitations for fairs and programmes in the fall.
As we finish our 127th year, Ridley is a strong as ever with excellent college placements, including a number in the US such as Yale, USC, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Harvey Mudd, Stamford, Penn, and others. We continue to offer impressive athletic and activity programming and the unparalleled International Baccalaureate programme across all 14 grades.
We enjoy record enrollment with students from 44 different countries and look forward to working with you this fall.
